Moving Performance
The Client
Moving Performance
Who are they
Using the magic of music, Moving Performance develops leaders and teams through programs and experiences that are unique, immersive, and effective. Moving Performance has cultivated signature programmes (based in England, so that spelling is, in fact, correct), they work with companies and team across all industries and all levels of leadership.
Words First
Words lead to more sales. That's why we spend the time needed to get to know you and your ideal clients.
Problem
Music and business development isn’t an intuitive connection. Moving Performance needed a way to communicate authority in two vastly disparate spaces at the same time. It also wasn’t a totally obvious product, so their messaging had to be clear and succinct.
Solution
We branded their different products individually so that they could be more easily understood. We also clarified their role in their client’s lives with several messaging revisions. With clear messaging, we wanted to make sure the site communicated the emotion their service brings out in participants. To accomplish this we focused the visual aspect of their website design on the strong photography they already had from past events.
Top-Tier Design
Good design supports good messaging and increases brand authority.
Driving Design Concept:
Moving Performance helps world-class companies develop their teams through their unique musical leadership programs. When designing their site, we wanted the visitor to be instantly intrigued and captivated by beautiful orchestral imagery and sophisticated design. Through the use of refined serif typography and subtle black and gold design elements, we created an immersive experience that gently guides the user through the website. The Moving Performance logo includes a subtle nod to flags of a music note that served as the perfect design element to bring movement and cohesion throughout the entire site.

Our Building Process
01. Platform & Technology
We build our sites on WordPress using an intuitive and easy-to-manage page builder (Beaver Builder). We do this primarily because our clients want a website that is simple enough for them to manage on their own: add blog posts, swap out images, make copy changes.
02. Functionality
Most websites we make are what we call "Marketing Sites." They exist to guide a prospective client through the get-to-know-you phase and hand them off to your sales team. Marketing Sites are generally very simple and do not require much beyond a contact form and Active Campaign integration.
Moving Performance has one special functionality:
During the pandemic, they needed to create a virtual e-learning version of their signature programmes (Sensei LMS plugin). They needed a custom login system that automatically redirected users to the correct course page based on the user type. They needed the ability to add users en-masse, create custom courses, and ensure a streamlined user experience that was easy to navigate.
Timeline
A standard website project takes between 11 and 16 weeks, depending on how responsive our clients are able to be when we need their input or feedback. Here are average timeframes:
Onboarding: 1 week
Messaging & Wireframes: 3 weeks
Design & Revisions: 3 weeks
Build: 3 weeks
Revisions: 4 weeks
Launch: 1 week
Unfortunately, we did not capture project stats for this particular build.
